Criminal Litigation Process
Litigation can be a drawn-out and confusing process. People are frequently led by popular television shows into believing that criminal defendants are investigated, charged and brought to trial in a very short period of time. A proper defense will oftentimes take several weeks and maybe several months. However, if an individual does not fully understand the rationale and the goals behind the delay, this process can be a frustrating one.
By taking the time to explain the process, and the various avenues to ensure we achieve the best result possible, we find that our clients comprehend the cause of such "delays" and understand that, at every step, there are important opportunities to provide for a better defense that must be seized.
